A quick and easy recipe for crispy air fryer corn on the cob coated with a tangy, smoky Tajin lime butter, perfect as a flavorful side or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears fresh corn on the cob, husked and cleaned
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons Tajin seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • Pinch of ground black pepper
  • Olive oil spray or neutral oil for coating
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro for garnish
  • Optional: Grated Cotija cheese for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it heat for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, combine softened butter, Tajin seasoning, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  3. Lightly spray or brush each ear of corn with olive oil to help achieve a crispy texture.
  4. Place the corn cobs in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overcrowding.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, then use tongs to turn the corn over.
  6. Cook for another 8-10 minutes until kernels develop golden, crispy spots and smell toasted.
  7. Remove the corn from the air fryer and immediately brush or spoon the Tajin lime butter generously over the warm corn.
  8. Garnish with chopped cilantro or grated Cotija cheese if desired.
  9. Serve hot for best crispy texture and flavor.

Notes

Use fresh corn for best results; frozen corn does not crisp well. Husk corn fully to avoid burning husks. Use softened butter, not melted, for better spreading. Rotate corn halfway through cooking for even crisping. Optional garnishes include cilantro and Cotija cheese. For dairy-free, substitute butter with plant-based spread. Cooking times may vary by air fryer model.
