A bright, refreshing, and alcohol-free margarita mocktail made with just five simple ingredients, perfect for busy weeknights and ready in under five minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) fresh lime juice (about 34 limes)
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) agave syrup or simple syrup
  • 1 cup (240ml) sparkling water
  • Coarse salt for rimming the glass
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • Lime wedges or wheels for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass. Pour some coarse salt onto a small plate, then dip the glass rims into the salt, twisting to coat evenly. Set aside.
  2. Squeeze fresh lime juice until you have about 1/2 cup (120ml). Do the same with fresh orange juice. Remove any seeds.
  3. In a small pitcher or bowl, combine the lime juice, orange juice, and agave syrup (or simple syrup). Stir well until the syrup dissolves completely.
  4. Fill your prepared glasses halfway with ice cubes. Pour the juice mixture over the ice, then top with 1 cup (240ml) sparkling water. Stir gently to combine without losing all the fizz.
  5. Add a lime wedge or wheel on the rim for garnish. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh lime and orange juice for best flavor. Adjust sweetness by adding more or less syrup. The salt rim is essential for authentic flavor but can be replaced with sugar for a sweeter twist. Add sparkling water last and stir gently to preserve fizz. The juice base can be prepared up to 24 hours in advance and refrigerated without sparkling water.
